General terms of sale and service

Version 2.0 — 2 September 2026

This is a courtesy translation. In case of discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.

Applicable from: September 2026.

Introduction

These terms govern the CuorEasy service and its direct sale. CuorEasy is a service of Moovet DXC S.r.l., operational headquarters and laboratory at Via dell'Università 6, 26900 Lodi (LO), Italy, registered office at Via Brisa 3, 20123 Milan, Italy, tax code and VAT no. 14348290967, REA MI-2776442 ("Moovet").

The terms are divided into three parts:

  • Part A — The CuorEasy service: always applies, wherever you bought the kit.
  • Part B — Direct sale by Moovet: applies only when you buy from Moovet, on cuoreasy.it, by email or at the stand during an event. If you buy from a store or another retailer, the sale is governed by that retailer's terms.
  • Part C — CuorEasy days in store: applies only if you book a day.

Definitions.

  • Customer: the adult natural person who buys or activates the kit for purposes outside their professional activity.
  • Kit: the pack containing swab, tube, instructions and return envelope.
  • Service: the molecular analysis of the saliva sample and delivery of the report.
  • Code: the unique code printed on the kit tube.

Part A — The CuorEasy service

A1. Nature of the service

A1.1 CuorEasy is a molecular screening. It measures, in the dog's saliva, the microRNAs associated with mitral valve disease (MMVD) and returns a report with one of two outcomes: "Favourable profile" or "Further investigation recommended".

A1.2 CuorEasy is not a veterinary diagnosis and does not replace a visit to the veterinarian. The report should be shared with your trusted vet, who is responsible for every clinical assessment and decision.

A1.3 The eligibility questionnaire on cuoreasy.it gives guidance on whether the test is advisable, based on the information provided by the Customer. It is not a clinical assessment.

A1.4 The service is reserved for adult Customers and for dogs older than 12 months.

A2. Kit activation and service contract

A2.1 The contract for the Service between the Customer and Moovet is concluded when the Customer activates the kit on cuoreasy.it/attiva, enters the Code and the required data, and accepts these terms.

A2.2 The Customer must provide accurate, up-to-date data, in particular the email address where the report will be sent.

A2.3 The kit can be activated up to the expiry date shown on the pack. After that date it cannot be activated, and Moovet does not guarantee the reliability of the analysis. The kit should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

A2.4 Moovet may refuse to activate a Code that has already been used, has expired or is not recognised, and will inform the Customer.

A3. Sample collection, return and analysis

A3.1 The Customer collects the saliva sample following the kit instructions and the video tutorial at cuoreasy.it/tutorial. The Customer collects the sample from their own dog; during events and store days CuorEasy staff may assist.

A3.2 The sample must be returned within 3 days of collection, using the method indicated for the kit: at the partner store, to the courier with the included shipping, or at the stand during an event. After this period the sample may degrade, and Moovet does not guarantee that it can be analysed.

A3.3 The sample is analysed at the Moovet laboratory in Lodi. The report is normally sent within 5-7 working days of the sample's arrival at the laboratory. This timeframe is indicative and may vary for technical reasons, which the Customer will be told about.

A3.4 Sample not analysable or outcome not classifiable. If the sample cannot be analysed, or the analysis does not produce a classifiable outcome, Moovet informs the Customer by email:

  • if the cause lies with the laboratory or with transport handled by Moovet, Moovet repeats the analysis or provides a new kit free of charge;
  • if the cause lies with the Customer (for example a return after the deadline, an insufficient sample, or a damaged or unsealed tube), the Customer can contact Moovet at help@moovet.eu to find out how to obtain a new kit.

A4. The report

A4.1 The report is sent to the email address given at activation and remains available through a personal link.

A4.2 The report is intended for the Customer, who decides whether to share it and with whom. Moovet does not send it to the vet or to the store.

A4.3 If the outcome is "Further investigation recommended", the report invites the Customer to see their vet for whatever checks the vet considers appropriate. The outcome is not a diagnosis.

A4.4 The Customer may ask for clarification about the service at help@moovet.eu. Moovet does not give clinical opinions on individual dogs.

A5. Biological sample and research

A5.1 By returning the sample, the Customer transfers the dog's biological sample to Moovet, which becomes its owner for the purpose of performing the Service.

A5.2 After analysis, the residual sample is kept, identified only by the Code. Moovet may use it for scientific research on mitral valve disease and to improve the analytical method. Results are processed and disseminated only in aggregated, anonymous form.

A5.3 The Customer may ask at any time, by writing to privacy@moovet.eu, for their dog's sample to be excluded from research and destroyed. The request is free and does not affect the Service.

A5.4 The processing of personal data linked to the sample is described in the Privacy notice.

A6. Customer obligations and liability

A6.1 The Customer undertakes to follow the kit instructions, collect the sample from their own dog, provide correct information and return the sample within the period in Article A3.2.

A6.2 Moovet performs the Service with the required professional diligence and is liable within the limits of the law.

A6.3 Moovet is not liable for damage resulting from improper use of the kit, inaccurate information provided by the Customer, failure to follow the instructions, or decisions about the dog's health taken without a vet's advice.

A6.4 No clause of these terms limits Moovet's liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor the rights granted to consumers by law.

B3.2 Promotional prices, for example during events, apply only to the stated period and channel.

B3.3 Payment is made:

  • at the stand, by card through SumUp;
  • online and for email orders, by the methods shown on the payment page, handled through SumUp.

Moovet does not receive or store full card details.

B3.4 The tax document is issued under current law; an invoice is available on request.

B4. Kit delivery

B4.1 The kit is delivered by courier to the address given by the Customer, in Italy, within the times shown before the order is confirmed. If no time is shown, delivery takes place within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract.

B4.2 If delivery does not take place on time, the Customer may set an additional deadline. If this is also missed, the Customer may terminate the contract and obtain a refund.

B4.3 The risk of loss of or damage to the kit passes to the Customer when the kit is delivered to them or to a person they have designated.

B4.4 Within a few days of delivery, the Customer should report to help@moovet.eu any kit that is damaged, incomplete or different from the one ordered, preferably with a photo.

B5. Right of withdrawal

B5.1 Online and email purchases. The Customer may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the kit. To do so, they send to help@moovet.eu the attached form or any other explicit statement of their decision.

B5.2 Exclusions. The right of withdrawal does not apply if the Customer has opened the kit's sealed packaging: for hygiene and health-protection reasons, an opened kit cannot be resold (Art. 59(e), Legislative Decree 206/2005). In addition, by activating the kit the Customer expressly requests that the Service start before the withdrawal period expires.

B5.3 Effects. The Customer returns the kit intact and sealed within 14 days of notifying the withdrawal, at their own cost. Moovet refunds the amount paid, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of the notice, using the same payment method used by the Customer. Moovet may withhold the refund until it receives the kit.

B5.4 Stand purchases. Purchases made at the stand during an event, including the kit shipped home, are contracts concluded on business premises. The withdrawal right for distance contracts does not apply to them. The legal guarantee and the consumer's other rights remain unaffected.

B5.5 Retailer purchases. For kits bought from a store or another retailer, withdrawal, where applicable, is exercised with the retailer.

B6. Legal guarantee of conformity

B6.1 Kits sold by Moovet are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity under Articles 128 et seq. of Legislative Decree 206/2005, for defects that appear within two years of delivery.

B6.2 In case of a defect, the Customer writes to help@moovet.eu. Moovet replaces the kit free of charge or, where replacement is not possible, reduces the price or terminates the contract, as provided by law.

B6.3 For kits bought from a retailer, the legal guarantee is claimed from the retailer.

Part C — CuorEasy days in store

C1 Moovet organises days when CuorEasy staff are present at a partner store. The Customer can book a time slot from the dedicated page.

C2 Booking is free and carries no obligation to buy. Anyone who decides to buy during the day does so on the terms stated at that time.

C3 Each time slot has limited places. A confirmation, and a reminder the day before, are sent by email. The Customer can cancel at any time with the personal link in the email.

C4 Moovet may change the time or cancel the day for organisational reasons. It will notify the Customer by email as soon as possible and, where available, offer an alternative date. Moovet is not liable for costs the Customer incurs to reach the store.

C5 CuorEasy staff explain the service and help the Customer collect the sample, but do not give clinical opinions.
